Aaliyah Daniel Haughton made her way to stardom in 1994 with the release of her first album Age Ain't Anything But A Numer. When she was just 15 the album was awarded Gold status. This collaboration, heavily in the direction of R. Kelly's musical style, put her in the limelight. In 1996 Jermaine and Timbaland made Aaliyah's album One In A Million. It featured If Your Girls Only Knew, the single that was most popular. Aaliyah was recognized internationally as a R&B performer with the release of her second album One In A Million. She starred with martial arts legend Jet Li in 2000's romance-action film Romeo Must Die. Joel Silver, a film producer, who was attending an awards show when she got the role, noticed her. Queen of the Damned was her first film role in 2002. It is based off the Anne Rice novel. The Matrix Sequels was her first role in The Matrix Sequels. She has also been in The Matrix Reloaded (2003) and The Matrix Revolutions (2007). In 1999, 2001 2002, 2003 and 1999 she was nominated for four Grammy Awards. Aarti Mann.....................Aarti Mann also known as Aarti Majumdar is an American actor who is best known for her portrayal of Priya Koothrappali in the popular TV series The Big Bang Theory. The actress is of Indian heritage and was born Connecticut. Mann is a shortening of her marriage final name Mankad. Aarti Magnumdar is her formal name, but she is also known as Aarti Magumdar. Although her early professional career was mostly dominated by small movie and TV performances, she rose to greater notoriety in the late 2000s. In addition to The Big Bang Theory her other most acclaimed works include Leverage (2012) Suits (2013) and Grey's Anatomy (2017). She has appeared in numerous commercials including Volvo's international car manufacturer. She is a resident of Los Angeles where she continues to work as an actor.
